Although the lab provides support for all members, all postdoctoral researchers in the lab are highly encouraged to apply for independent funding from different institutes and foundations. Some fellowships and grants held by current lab members and recent alumni include:

   Life Sciences Research Foundation
   Human Frontier Science Program
   Ruth L. Kirschstein NRSA

   Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation
National Institute of Health (NIH) Pathway to Independence Award

Prospective Graduate Students

Unfortunately, we can’t help with admission to MIT graduate studies. All of our graduate students MUST enter our lab via one of MIT’s academic departments, for example:

   Department of Biology
Computational and Systems Biology Initiative (CSBi)
   Department of Biological Engineering

Please visit any of the links above to obtain information about admissions for each of these academics departments. If you apply and are selected for a visit to MIT, please let us know if you are interested in our lab.

If you would like to get a head start on your research experience, here are a few ways to join our lab:

MIT Students may apply through the MIT undergraduate research opportunities program (UROP).
Non-MIT students may apply through the MIT Summer Research Program (MSRP) or the HHMI Exceptional Research Opportunities Program (EXROP).

If you apply as a UROP or summer student, please send an email to apply_pagelab|at| with curriculum vitae and a brief description of your research interests.

We regret that we are unable to accept undergraduate or graduate students who do not apply through MIT or another partner program.
